You may also want to check these Google©  maps (stick with the main routes, less confusing):

From Hwy 32 from Orland  (via West East Ave.) If you are coming over from I-5.

From Hwy 99E  (East Ave. exit) Doesn’t matter if you are coming from the north or south; turn east.

From Hwy 99E   (via 32 to Bruce Road) Same as above but more scenic; three traffic circles to contend with.

Upcoming Junior Events (FYI):

CR&GC Sponsored Gun Show @ Elks Hall, Chico: 22-23-May-2010  (Junior Hot Dog Fundraiser)

The Bottom Line: Ideas and concerns of team members will be posted here. Contributions can be emailed to the page editor at the link below. Submissions may be edited for content and length, in which case the contributor will be notified and consulted. Please consider the following disclaimer: The Bottom Line submissions do not necessarily reflect policies or positions of the Chico Rod and Gun Club, the Board of Directors, or elected officers of same… they are the comments of members and their personal opinions.

Having a couple of classic BALvar scopes floating around among the team members raised an issue; instructions for same. The owner of one of these oddities (after some searches found that the ‘net had no leads but thanks to the diligent effort of one of the owners said paperwork was rounded up. It is now accessible as…

BALvar 24 CAT. NO. 61-42-15: REFERENCE MANUAL

If you have one of these without the instructions they are pretty daunting. In the event yours doesn’t track anymore contact us and we can supply plans to convert it to Lyman / Unertl style mounts.

[With any luck I’ll find the booklet that came with the Lyman Super Targetspot and get it uploaded soon. Ed.]
